The BowlsLink Results Portal provides access for Broadcast Administrators to create Live Scoring Overlays to enrich the broadcast of Bowls Events.

BowlsLink Scoreboards are tested and only officially support the Open Broadcast Software (OBS).

Match Scoreboard Overlays

The Overlay platform supports creating rich real-time scoreboards to add as overlays in your streams.
These scoreboards are updated with scoring data pulled directly from the results portal and updated as soon as markers input their scores via the BowlsLink Scoring app.

BowlsLink provides a tool to generate a URL to add these scoreboards as an overlay to your OBS or similar software.

How to generate a match scoreboard

1. Visit the following url Results Portal - Overlay Admin. You will be presented with a page similar to the following.

2. Select the tab Match Scoreboard Tab if it’s not already selected.

3. In the Match Identifier / Results Portal URL field, enter the ID of a match, or the URL of a results portal match page.
   (i.e. https://results.bowlslink.com.au/match/c986b82f-0646-453a-ac72-a0efd2fe1f20 )

4. Select the Style of the scoreboard via the Theme Selection dropdown, or select other and provide a URL to an external match stylesheet.

5. Copy the generated URL and use it in an OBS scene.
